Yeah, it's a nice feeling! The thing about cons is that you have to consider if your book matches the vibe of the con. Stuff like "Lauren Ipsum" and "Slumbertown" will do better in furry cons than, say, a superhero con, for example.

N'thing that I mostly sell books at cons and do pretty well with it. I sold a ton of books at Anthrocon this year, and I can vouch that both of my table neighbors, who primarily sold books, did well with them, too.

Anthrocon was a blast! Got to meet a lot of nice people here, including readers of "Lauren" and people I've known online for quite a while. Will try to return next year! I have to remember to bring enough "Lauren" books next time so that I won't run out by the 2nd day, ha ha.

It used to be common for Japanese studios to make anime based on Western novels, including American ones. "Raccoon Rascal", "Anne of Green Gables", "Tom Sawyer", "Johnny Chuck" (titled "Rocky Chuck" in Japan), "Wizard of Oz", etc. I always thought that was interesting.
