I have that! I have one of those āformulaā shampoos/conditioners where you state your needs and they formulate it for you.
I think I probably need a leave-in. Sigh. If only my stylist wasnāt booked up completely.

Nice! If you can get your hands on them, I definitely recommend the Loose Cannon recons. Very much worth it. Harder to find now that most of the fans who made them now do work directly with the BBC.

Blink is amazing, but it does require some pre-knowledge. And itās āDoctor-light,ā which doesnāt help.

Thatās fair. Iād say give it until the end of the season, and if it doesnāt work, itās ok.

Yeah, thereās a lot of Gallifrey stuff and āloreā baked into that episode. Donāt know how new watcher friendly it is!

Oh, Lala was amazing; Iām sorry she had to put up with Dawkins as long as she did! š (I used to joke that it was the only thing I envied him for.)

He (and Barry and Terrance) basically saved it. The ratings were terrible during Patās last series and it was on the verge of being cancelled.
Honestly, another fantastic story to show people is āArk in Space,ā assuming they donāt just laugh at bubble wrap technology.

Yeah, 11th hour works as a great intro episode; it explains the showās core concepts quickly and coherently.

As a writer as well, Iām not sure that idea works well for this show. Itās very unique in that itās ever changingā¦.and its sense of continuity is even more nonexistent than early Star Trek. I donāt know as there has been one way it was intended, except in the minds of each showrunner in the 21st c.

ā¦point, rather than a sampling. If itās just a sampling, Iād probably pick a Tom Baker story, maybe Pyramids of Mars, or, if they like the funny aspects more, āCity of Death.ā (The latter was the one I most often suggested as a ātasteā before 2005.)

Depends. For the 21st century series, āRose,ā āThe Eleventh Hour,ā āThe Woman who Fell to Earth,ā or āThe Church on Ruby Roadā would all work as great starting points, depending on what the person might like. For the 20th c series, āSpearhead From Spaceā is pretty perfect if you want a startingā¦

ā¦a different feel, for the most part, and those changes carry on for the rest of RTDās run.
I liked Ecclestonās season, generally, butā¦.yeah. In retrospect, itās kind of rough.

ā¦.person watching. Like, āThe Eleventh Hourā was, essentially, a new start for the series. As was the first Jodie Whittaker story, as was this past yearās Christmas special.
But the 2005 season has a lot of rough edges, thanks to the pressure of the revival, and it really shows. Season 2 hasā¦

Well, I, a silly person, would say that āRoseā is coming in 26 seasons late!
But there are as many opinions as there are Doctor Who fans. The interesting thing about the show is it really does recreate itself again and again, so itās hard to get a firm good starting point, depending on theā¦.
