the number of times people get called for jury in this county has made this a horrible place to get arrested for anything. the number of people i hear say "i dont care if youre innocent youre guilty cause im sick of being called" is rly high. not right or fair but it Is stretching the town too far

i think its like this everywhere in texas, but im not sure. might be a small county thing. i dont think they would have enough people for a jury if they couldnt do this, we had 80 cases last month and a population of 1400

would be nice, but nope. you never actually get to be on the jury. you show up and before anything happens they take the plea deal (most of the time) or you arent selected. sometimes theyre poorly managed and you have to go two days before jury selection. keeps your name in the hat indefinitely

tiny county and high crime that passes through. they always take the plea deal so it never goes to trial, therefore they can keep pulling your name indefinitely

this. doing art is not enough to not burn me out. in fact, ive found i burn out Less easily doing non art work than commissions, but the commissions pay better so i have to keep them on. the only place i run and dont grow tired is my personal projects.
