I have a story out today in the latest issue of Worlds of Possibility! "A Hint of Cinnamon, a Whiff of Mint" is about love, and fudge, and secrets, and octopi. I hope everyone enjoys it!

For everyone in the totality path tomorrow, I wish you clear skies! I went to Columbia, SC for the 2017 eclipse and it remains one of the top moments of my life. You are in for a treat.

New story day!!! "Deli and the Glamcake Breakout", about a wayward cake on a mission, is in TTL issue 10! I'm super excited to see it out in the world! It started as a strange little snippet in one of @catrambo.bsky.social 's writing games sessions, and ended up taking on a life of its own!

Finally finished my OTHER knitting monstrosity from last year! THIS is what I call a shawl. Not sure what the next big project is, for now I'm gonna swing to the other extreme and work on tiny baby mitts for an incoming baby.

I also managed to read 47 books, which kinda astounds me when I see it laid out like that. I hadn't set a specific reading goal for myself but DANG I almost got to 50!

According to the Submission Grinder I did 18 submissions this year! Not as many as last year and not as many as I'd like, but it's a number greater than 0, so that's gotta count for at least something.

Cookie baking party this weekend! This led to several very silly cookies, like this radioactive moose.

For me, one of the best parts of finishing a knitting project is getting to pick out the next one!

Coming home from a road trip, we see a large round something in the yard. "Oh, it must be a softball from one of the neighbor kids" we think. No, not so much. More like a ginormous shroom poff that has taken up residence and will surely gain intelligence any day now. I hope it enjoys reading books.

Got my copy of @hannahcomb.bsky.social 's cool beans kaiju comic Amphiox today! It is excellent and the photo does not do the cover justice.

Woohoo, hello! Still making sense of everything here but here I am! By day I do science, by night I write SFF, crawl the internet, knit, and bake the occasional thing. Happy to be here!
