My mother was convinced applicators were solely because some women were uncomfortable touching their bodies and lol no. I did eventually learn to use OB tampons in a pinch but they were a terrible starter tampon.

OK I looked up the last time there was any uncertainty about a nominee and it was 1984. The last time there was a serious fight was 1976. This is the most uncertainty I can actually remember at a convention, and I'm 51.

This made me wonder when people were announced in the past. Kamala Harris was announced in August of 2020 and Mike Pence was announced July 15th, 2016. So it's not particularly weird. It would be weird for Biden because he's a sitting president who has a VP.

They already had to arrange to have an official convention vote a week (?) early in order to get Biden on the ballot in Ohio. Which none of the people talking about how great a contested convention would be seem to have acknowledged? Anyway I think it would be a fait accompli but pre-convention.

Oh my god every claim here is wrong. I was ten in 1983 and my classmates included a kid with peanut allergies, a kid with celiac, a couple of fat kids, and one kid who was being "treated" for his ADHD with the Feingold diet.
