I downloaded Speechify so I could do some work reading while I was filing because I am a multitasker. The reo pronunciations are terrible unless it is reading whole paragraphs, when the reader decides they are reading Japanese and the vowels and stresses suddenly become recognisable. Wacky

Yeah Japanese having the same vowel sounds occasionally comes in handy! Ironically I learned Japanese first (good old kiwi school system) but it helped me when I started my reo.
