Kavanaugh is basically a Boomer. Alex P. Keaton was a fictional character in an 80s TV show whose views were a satirized criticism of 80s conservative economic ideologies. Most Gen X were still kids in the 1980s who watched selfish Boomers start the culture wars for their own socioeconomic hegemony.

I literally said not just the ones who resembled those 2. I grant you, it's likely that you and those around you did not conform to this. The question is, was that was the norm, or not. In my experience, not as much. Although I myself do not think that the average was worse than for boomers.
