sort of; i have a list on my phone that’s in need of updating because i’ve stabilized (for now, ha). but i take so many meds there is not usually space to list them all on intake forms, which is the us healthcare system in a nutshell.🙄

there was a dr. who episode from peter capaldi’s run that hinged on that, only i think the script never named the price—making it seem even more unfathomably exorbitant. it’s called “oxygen.” have you seen it?

you know, one of the cool things about this big transparent dressing over my healing tattoo is that the no-see-ums can’t bite through it. maybe i should just encase my whole body in it.

it’s fascinating how things shift—language, i guess, especially—the longer people talk about experiences & selfhoods. but there isn’t enough room in a profile bio or whatnot to contain how i really experience gender & sexuality, & i know it’s not just me. i like that we keep talking, reconceiving!

i confess, i feel incredibly old because genderqueer seemed distinct from NB ten years ago (i claim gq) yet now seems to have been sucked up or lumped under NB. this graphic does at least help reduce the tendency against nuance & self-definition i’ve encountered & felt in some uses of “nonbinary.”
