Sorry man, I like you and your analysis, but come on. At a certain point we need to drop “perception is reality” (not unless you are Bishop Berkeley!) and go to ascertainable facts.

Okay. Well now I really don’t get it, because the line of succession after the VP is not in fact well defined-there’s a pretty serious constitutional problem with the Speaker of the House and President pro tempore of the Senate being in that line-see the work of Akhil and Vikram Amar.
