Liars. Scamming. But why? Only Steam works. So, why? To get a bump of new Steam players signing up because they think they'll have a lot of folks to play with since the app is now on iPhones and Android phones. If that's not true, then paint me confused.

Haley is just feeding the venal right what they want to hear. More proof that the vast majority of American right is off the rails, irrespective of Trump.

In a sense, the better metaphor than "won the war" is "crossed the finish line we set for ourselves", since the stated goal, while not absolutely arbitrary is at least to some extent a choice of what factors to give what weight.

Are people seriously comparing Biden's economy to Carter's? At this point in the Carter admin inflation was 12.6% and rising, now it's 3.1% and falling.

What’s in my USA go bag? Three years of Spanish, a passport, and case where I used to keep my rose-colored glasses before they broke. #usagobag

Yes, there are 2 sides to the current mideast conflict. They are not what you think they are. Side 1: two allied powers hiding behind the stalking horse of trying to anihilate each other. Side 2: two citizenries who have been duped into believing war is the quickest and best route to peace.

Agreed. Alas, we need the Credibility Fairy, and sometimes this Fey Enforcer is indeed part of the causality chain. Like when considering the expectational effects of expansionary monetary policy (esp. re getting out of a liquidity trap).

Did it ever occur to you that despite probably never having read Mein Kampf, Trump is demonstrably listening to a lot of people who *have*?

I am finally on BlueSky. Came here solely for my PK fix. Couldn’t survive a PK extinction event.
