What does that have to do with being trumpy? It ends up with votes for third way democrats instead of Jerry Brown in 1992, Bill Bradley in 2000 etc but that’s not being trumpy.

With all due respect - no way. Gen X chose Clinton over Bush I in 1992. Wanted Gore to fight for his election in 2000. Put Obama in twice. Votes for Democrats consistently, especially women and PoC. A lot of the Gen X men are trumpy losers but no way are we the trumpiest.

2/But again it’s complicated. Current clear example - the United Methodist Church is currently breaking apart due to social issues. The way to keep it together (ie benefit the most) - along with its size/influence/financial resources -would be to stay together by keeping its conservative doctrines.

1/In terms of policy/politics? With the current Supreme Court clearly conservative Christians but not the others I mentioned. In terms of culture? Conservative Christians are clearly pretty upset that they’re losing the “culture war.”

Suggestion for WaPo, NYT, NPR, and the like – stop treating the Republican candidate’s non-criminal behavior as a separate topic. MSM is far too deferential to him. Every report should include some reference to his trials, violent rhetoric, and disdain for the rule of law. Won’t hold my breath.

So it could be petrified wood (found where it’s typical?) whose features were driven by the original wood grain and the fluid that intruded into the wood. The erosion pattern following the color differences is cool - the dark part appears to be harder than the light part.

I’m a geologist but mostly in water and soil topics for the last 30 years. That doesn’t look like a separate inclusion- you can see the continuation of the grain/bedding from color to color.
