Cast as a block that I cut up with a craft knife. Not very elegant but I didn't have time for elegance! Automotive filler/primer gives the master a matte, sandy texture that I like in silicone. If I were to do this again I'd use d. skin 20 (That's not blood, it's just pigment.)

New nose for Snickers that allows airflow. I don't know why it took me this long to do that. Dragon Skin 10 in a mold made of the same. Original sculpt in Nomad/Blender. Same as Sassafras, just scaled up.

I worked hard all month to get a new fullsuit finished in time for AC, but I decided today that I should just finish a partial. I taped up the bodysuit and can't muster the energy to start drawing my pattern. I want to take my time, I want this to turn out well. #fursuit

Aw man. It flips up at the center front, there's a big wrinkle diagonally on the sides, and the back flap is way too full. I think I need to add a triangle to the side seams, then take in the rear flap at the center. We'll see!

So... I impulse bought a 3D scanner (revopoint range 2) to take full body scans of people to create digital mannequins. I tried it out last night and it wasn't instantly magic like I dreamed. I got really frustrated trying to scan my spouse. Hoping I'll have better luck with practice.

Sassafras originally had airbrushed stripes, except down her back and on her tail. I'm excited about using black fur instead. This photo is from 2016 when she was fresh, but the paint faded pretty badly. I had to touch it up a few times. Gonna simplify mackerel tabby a LOT.

I get this all the time since I'm a fiber artist. I shut it down quick with a "no thanks, I'm done monetizing my hobbies," or "no, I like to keep it fun." If they press I throw out a high estimate of dollars I'd have to charge, that usually works!

Yes, it's an add-on you have to turn on under Edit>Preferences. It even printed at the right scale. I built it in paper, then simplified it for foam. docs.blender.org/manual/en/3....
