Labour’s share of the vote is virtually unchanged since 2019 but suddenly they have doubled their share of seats. This is due to the flaws of First Past The Post (FPTP) voting system, which is by far the least democratic way to run elections. It’s also part of why US politics is so badly broken.

For all that PR would mean Farage's party would have around 90 seats now instead of 4 (or whatever single-digit number they have), yeah. PR would be a lot more democratic.
