Yes I oppose the Conservative majority. I also oppose the self-policing method for ethical violations. This court is suffering from massive conflicts of interest and that has nothing to do with their political views but everything to do with integrity. Still discussing ethics rules?

Puritan “work ethic” is the source of much pain and suffering. The newly made up “Prosperity Gospel” feeds this too. The truth is the USA will ignore any proven solutions that involve giving people something to without a requirement they are shamed for needing help, and made to work for it.

Saying “fuck it” and canceling the rest of the day’s activities are two separate actions. I think it is quite reasonable to say fuck it over this event. Maybe cancel just those things you least want to do. If that’s everything, so be it! Urine control.

It’s amazing how much good came out of a community that existed (for a time) despite the execrable (and temporarily hidden) opinions of its founder. I kept hoping he was just going through a process and would self-correct eventually. Like you and many others, in time I gave up and moved on.

Is the concern about aggregation by ethnicity, age, or gender. We DO use those indicators in analysis to help target messaging to the most at-risk subgroups. There are also analyses that might identify the worst offenders (recidivists) but that stuff is rarely published. It’s for the DMV or police

I’m not sure what is meant by data aggregation in this context. In my world (traffic safety) we use aggregate data for research and to protect individuals’ identities. The research is important to our understanding of speeding and red light running behaviors and countermeasures without targeting.

The regulated can’t be trusted to write or enforce regulations. The courts lack the technical expertise to navigate the details through case law. Congress lacks the knowledge and constancy to deliver sensible regulations that remain stable over time. Technical experts may be flawed or corrupt.
