1/2 Did reg for about 14 hrs total on the first 2 days of AC24. The line is the length it is, there was ALOT of ppl, we can't control that. BUT we did shoot for <30 sec per badge. There's always room for little QOL improvements but otherwise in my eyes the pickup portion of AC went great.

I get the limitations of volunteers & logistics, I really do. But other conventions, big & small, have figured this out by now. When the convention makes someone wait in line for hours and then shuts down (while also stopping anyone from participating that night), they have a right to be upset.

2/5 fully aware of all of the resources, limitations, and logistics involved in making a huge operation like that run smoothly. I ran Registration for MFF for the first 8 years (back when it was still teeny-tiny , but still). I learned that Registration planning and execution...
