Cant believe im this guy right now but i glanced a study showing regular potato and sweet potato not such a big difference. i dont know who funded the study. Would love to hear more, staying a student of science etc etc
No one in the thread is comparing plain potatoes to sweet potatoes, doesn't have to be one or the other.
Sweet potatoes have higher potassium & vitamin B6 and, more importantly, a lower glycemic index.
Some are at higher risk for diabetes, so they're a healthy choice and already a heritage food.
