Teachers are lucky to even make $30k in my area, it’s utterly tragic for them. I’ll never forget how I had a teacher quit because they couldn’t even afford to pay for gas to get to work (and it’s outrageous to try to get local housing)

I think there are a lot more skilled trades jobs than this gives credit to. Varies again by area, but in my area non-union electricians earn $55k, union $75k.
