Picked up a cute sundress at a pride event. While trying it on, got a huge compliment after chatting with a pre-everything trans person: "You look cis as hell!"
May have inspired them!

Of course this isn't to say people should hide their faces or bodies. But they should be well aware of the pros and cons, know how to navigate the eventual icky situations, and be ready to ask themselves "do i really wanna deal with X or Y bad situation when I just wanna chat and socialize?"

Also, I've learned that being lewd or not, if you're attractive in any regard, then it can also lead to not just creeps, but also jealousy among peers. And while it can be exciting to be happy about your body and progress, it can lead to some situations you just don't wanna deal with.

I've also learned that being too 'open' about your body - even if you can spot ans shun away the biggest offenders of being creeps - is that it leads to a lot of vapid interactions.
You get followers, but they just want more lewds, and don't care when you wanna chat hobbies or interests.

Went to the MtG pride commander event. Assumed the promo was a card (I skimmed the LGS event deets)
Disappointed it's a poster I could have printed at home.
Meanwhile FaB gave out playmates and promo baubles at their Christmas event.
WotC really stingy these days.

Part of why I recommend fedora because if you're unfamiliar with partitions then it has a really good default out of the box, using btrfs. And the package manager doesn't fight you. Their team has been pretty great at delivering a rock solid experience

Understandable. Whenever people ask, I try to tell them "pick from these easy to use distros (neon, pop, cinnamon) and whatever you do, ensure home and root are split. Some distros do this automatically. Then if you don't like a distro, you can change it without losing your stuff!"

Yea - I run Fedora 40, Plasma spin. Been loving it. Stays fairly up to date. Started with Neon but I didn't like how far behind/downstream from Ubuntu it was. Packages sometimes 3 years behind current versions. Gross.

Installing modern "out of the box" distros I find to be way easier and quicker to install than windows if I'm being honest.
Part of it has to do with distros being more lightweight vs win, not asking you to sign into a bunch of crap, and being unassuming of included software.

The only games afaik that don't run are those that want to install rootkits (see: invasive anti cheat that reads your ram or installed software)
But softer 'contained' anticheats like Elden ring run without a hitch.
And I get day 1 updates for popular games like FFXIV, so it's def usable

To be clear I'm not interested in making counterfeits. I'm not interested in recreating holo stamps or blue cores or other authenticating marks.
I am interested in producing a quality product. Something that far exceeds gluing paper to basic lands or gluing cardstock together. That shits cheap.

I kinda wish the TCG counterfeit market didn't make learning how to make my own cards with the proper "flick and stiffness" at home - including knowing who I can buy the base materials from - so difficult.
Print is its own creative art. I want to know how it's done.

Like yea no shit I deleted it I didn't want others to think I'm standing by a bad take instead of feeling remorse. And a lot of people were upset I didn't issue a public apology? I don't own the public jack shit lmao. I wrote a private message, because I'm not here tryna earn internet feel-good pts

I did this once. Made a poor taste joke, due to the timing of something I was unaware of. Was made aware very quickly, felt bad, deleted the tweet.
Reaction? "She's trying to erase evidence, won't apologize!" except I didn't owe anyone but the offended party an apology, privately.

Something like this:
First, set up multiple virtual desktops (a standard feature on most DEs)
Add keybinds for each desktop. I do a convention of meta+number corresponding to the desktop.
Then, you can hit the 'pin' button in a window's title bar to pin it to all desktops. (this lil button here)

In the real world, we call this 'trying to dig up dirt on someone'
Oh, there's this person you don't like? But you're the only one who doesn't like them, which is socially awkward? Let's dig up dirt on them so others dislike them, too!
And that is what folks spend way too much time doing online.

Webflow. It's more akin to square space. I really like it's "free lest you need CMS/custom domain" model.
And has tons of cloneable user made sites you can use as a starting point.
Supports tons of web apps like store apps or you can write your own and connect them with postman

"But Kompy you're not actually playing 2-3 games at once, right?"
Well of course not but maybe I'm waiting in queue for a dungeon in FFXIV and wanna build my Minecraft house while doing so, without shuffling windows around or sacrificing screen space. Linux makes that a breeze it's so nice

I can also make certain windows persist across desktops such as firefox or discord, or only on certain desktops depending on what I'm doing there.
Hitting that meta+desktop number feels so good because the whole screen just slides over to show that desktop - without delay, without game lag.

I'll have Elder Scrolls Online on desktop 1's primary monitor, discord and obsidian with open notes monitor 2, and OSRS on desktop 3 afk training woodcutting. KDE notifications if I go idle. Meta+3 over to click. Then PSO on desktop 2 and meta+2 over when an urgent quest pops and jump into queue.

Multiple desktops with keybinds and a tiling script on Linux BLOWS alt tabbing out of the water.
I can meta+1, 2 and 3 between virtual desktops - fluidly - to switch between games, and each desktop has a different spread of windows on the second monitor (game wikis, chats, etc)

I avoid those games just out of practice anyways. Otherwise, all my faves run fine. Hell, I installed the FFXIV expansion today no problem.
But, I understand if Fortnite is still ball-and-chaining people to Windows.

Here's what I'm gonna tell you. On one hand, the cost of the basic land + the cost of ink and paper is pennies. On the other hand, I once had someone send me a WHOLE BOX of mtg cards for a full sheet of 9. But I don't know what to price the time spent designing them lol

If I sold my fan-made digital alters for Magic the Gathering, what would folks pay?
They are designed by me, sometimes basing them off other pop-culture references or creating my own unique designs. I print them at home myself, and bind them to a basic land.

Seriously, osrs is successful due to the new stuff they've added and not god wars dungeon.
