when you say to others that you believe positivity is empty, you are spreading despair. you have no more right to spread that than you do infectious disease I tolerated this sort of thing on Twitter, became a part of and an agent of it, and I will always regret this. despair ruins lives

“I’m depressed, I’ve heard the same things over and over” yes. we all live in the world. we’re grown-ups. to me, your doomer takes are things I’ve heard a thousand times. it seems to me that you have a choice: live in a world with hope, or one without one.
