you may not be able to “snap out of” depression due to the political situation, but you do not get to spread your despair to others, ESPECIALLY not by jumping into the mentions of multiple people who are trying to spread responsible, sober sensibility (I won’t even say positivity)

people love to throw around the word “abuse” on this site, and I guess I’ll jump in there too: I think that colloquially, apocalyptic political doomsaying is a form of abuse (and I will drop the “colloquial” and say it’s literally so if you’re an Influencer/Important Person with fans)
