thinking about trying to design some kind of paper based game system to help me develop and flesh out stories, like... this is gonna sound really weird and it is, but I kinda want to make a game simulating writing a fanfic, but using paper-based simulation of database operations

like the idea being, you have a notebook and you maintain different pages, and you have virtual "cards" you select using dice or whatever from lists of rows in tables (which are ordered and can change order) all on paper
