but like, it seems pretty clear to me that if you're going to be a public figure, even if you're openly in an open relationship, having a relationship with people much younger than you or with a power dynamic (real, not like BDSM stuff) is going to invite judgment (and mixing in kink raises risks)

I... am not necessarily a big fan of the idea that we have to... be concerned with the private lives of entertainers or creators, but I guess the pithy way to put this is that I think this reveals Gaiman is probably writing a self insert exactly as much as I have always assumed he is
