a life of melancholy, where the meaningless years go by like seconds and a person doesn't grow (Isabel working that minimum wage fun center for 20y until she's 40y or so). Brutal. Anyway, not so sure how I felt about it as a movie. Narratively, I don't think Tara would have given up on Isabel
