But we still need to take attendance manually, as well as to withdraw students when they have not attendend for 3 classes in a row. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Explain to me why isn’t AI doing that for faculty? It would give us so much time to invest in research and/or writing!

Absolutely! But what left me thinking was the way this artist spoke about craft, as if craft is dated, something no one should be doing nowadays. I wonder if this artist even knows how essential it is for kids’ development to learn how to write. The craft of writing using our hands!

I listened to a podcast recently in which an artist was explaining how much the use of AI have helped her. She even said that —from her perspective— it is time for us humans to stop praising craft, that we have been giving too much importance to craft for too long.

Perhaps, assigning rewards for each little step towards the goal. It usually helps me to breK everything down in small (teeny tiny) goals and reward myself when I achieve each. But it’s hard… I hear ya!😅😓

So, now “To Kill a Mockingbird” is been taken out of school’s reading lists because… (wait for it) …it makes people uncomfortable! Y’all, that is the point of that book: TO MAKE PEOPLE UNCOMFORTABLE! Geez! People need to get comfortable being incomfortable! Urgently!
