When we lived in Singapore the Tanglin Mall put up a two-storey, seated Santa on an outer wall. Then, after Christmas, they removed the top half and replaced it with the torso and head of a Chinese patriarch, seated as you’d see in a portrait. We loved it. Don’t know if they still do that.
