Recovering IT Architect, unrepentant liberal, trying to figure out what retirement means.
This ruling puts Dredd Scott to shame. We fought a revolution to throw off a tyrant, what possible reading of the constitution says we still have one?

I agree on the Calvinball. It’s especially disgusting because most of us know that if a Democrat had been appealing to this court under similar circumstances, they would have found no immunity.
Even the conservatives know this, because it’s why they packed this court to begin with.

Wouldn’t this decision also allow Dark Brandon to issue a presidential finding (official act) that DJT is a terrorist acting for a foreign power and have him shipped off to Gitmo for interrogation?
He is creating a state of terror in the majority of the people in this country …

Do they realize they just effectively allowed Biden to make a presidential finding that Trump is an agent of a foreign government and lock him up in Gitmo?

My take is perhaps more cynical. The press is afraid of what the GOP will do to them if they attack and Trump still wins. Dems won’t exact material revenge if they’re attacked but win. So the MSM primarily attacks Biden to placate the GOP and look like they’re doing their job.

Think this through better. Netanyahu likes Trump, he wants Trump to win bc Trump will back him all the way. He’ll increase the weapons we send and will have them all stenciled with “Finish them”

It’s a mgmt resentment thing. Mngrs in tech fields often don’t understand the work being done. & if they have an ego problem, their lack of expertise starts to grate when engineers explain why their bright new fad won’t work bc … science. I’ve often seen this in IT. Bullying & sidelining result.

When we lived in Singapore the Tanglin Mall put up a two-storey, seated Santa on an outer wall. Then, after Christmas, they removed the top half and replaced it with the torso and head of a Chinese patriarch, seated as you’d see in a portrait. We loved it.
Don’t know if they still do that.

RG was a ringleader in the attempt to kill civil democracy. It’s proportional that democracy impose a “civil death penalty.”

There were news stories of Rudy going to TFG for financial help and getting at best a couple hundred $K.
TFG reportedly doesn’t want to pay the millions he owes because Rudy didn’t win any court cases.

Buyers should be referred to residents of Carpenter Village in Cary (NC) who were told there would be “vibrant” retail in the development but it turned out to be quite sad and paltry.

My one experience with hash resulted in a night of dreaming of Lisp code.
Needless to say, I never touched hash again.
