Okay, here's a niche Q: where, in the order of things in a festschrift, does the honoree's CV go? Post-dedication, pre-TOC? Post-everything, at the back? Another better place?

Librarian preference for the front, as then it may show up in some previews. Along with contributor bio blurbs.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a full cv in a Festschrift. There’s often a list of publications, usually in the back, and I like it there.

I've seen it both at the front (sometimes after an introduction) & at the back; & I have to admit I prefer it at the end.

We skipped that step for Melania since it was an undercover FS. I think in the back? I can’t remember if I’ve seen CVs or only lists of publications (which of course don’t capture someone’s true influence on/work in academia)
