Talked to my therapist for the first time in six months today, and we covered a lot of ground, but I feel like the most important stuff was about how to exist outside a state of constant anger and how to cope with the perpetual desire for vengeance.

Kinds of Kindness is dope and fits right in with Lanthimos's Lobster/Killing-era films. Bizarre, dark sense of humor and an emotional coldness that lends the film a delightfully strange atmosphere.

I met with Polly Schattel again for my HWA mentorship, and god, this is the best thing that's happened for me as a writer in a long time. I really thrive with a supportive mentor who's willing to give me a challenge and keep me accountable for following through.

I'm desperately trying to get all the elements I like from each of the crawdad fetuses into one Ultimate Crawdad Fetus, so I cut a third woodcut and then did a little digital compositing and touching up. The digital part feels like cheating, but so it goes!
