To have it come out so painfully close to his death was heart-wrenching... but it made me feel so proud of him for getting his story out like that, and showing the world who his version of Batman was through his story. He was an incredibly gracious man and I wish I could've gotten to meet him.

I was lucky enough to get a hard copy of this the year it came out. So glad it's being shared with more people. Kevin was so private about his life, it was such a brave and amazing choice for him to tell his story in what would be his final summer. Such a great man.
