This state is so fucked up. Probably the most backwards place I’ve lived. And I’ve lived in 9 states. It’s like a trifecta of poverty, ignorance, and poor education. And meth. Lots of meth.

FINALLY started reading again (work writing and fiction writing takes up a lot of brain space) and grabbed Priest of Bones by @petemc666.bsky.social of my TBR pile.
LOVE the book. The voice. The The characters. He says a lot on the page without the prose being overwrought.
Makes it look easy 👍

I just texted my brother (whose house I’m at), “Why is there an earthquake in Philly.” Whole house vibrated. I lived in LA for 20 years, and that was one of the longer ones I’ve felt.
