Writer. Entrepreneur. Unapologetic cat lover.
I write things for a living. Sometimes they’re good.
This state is so fucked up.
Probably the most backwards place I’ve lived. And I’ve lived in 9 states.
It’s like a trifecta of poverty, ignorance, and poor education. And meth. Lots of meth.

I mean, if you watch a Jerry Seinfeld interview, he’ll say he hates most things.
So I’m sure there’s a complaint seeded in there too. 😂

Am I the only one who doesn’t see him as complaining?
He’s saying you simply adjust to the times. Thats not a complaint. It’s an observation.
I mean, if people want to be made a cringy 90’s jokes, go watch Friends.

FINALLY started reading again (work writing and fiction writing takes up a lot of brain space) and grabbed Priest of Bones by @petemc666.bsky.social of my TBR pile.
LOVE the book. The voice. The The characters. He says a lot on the page without the prose being overwrought.
Makes it look easy 👍

Also, you forgot just the “bang.” I was in El Segundo, and one time it sounded like someone knocked over a vertical file next office over.
I was like “WTF was that” and a coworker goes “earthquake.”

I just texted my brother (whose house I’m at), “Why is there an earthquake in Philly.”
Whole house vibrated.
I lived in LA for 20 years, and that was one of the longer ones I’ve felt.

Ron DeSantis has the charisma of a thimble and anyone who watched him and thought otherwise has the gullibility of someone who can be convinced by a thimble.
