It's a deeply imperfect record. More than likely, reseachers will spend years trying to disentangle the misinformation and missing information it contains. It's more interesting to talk about youtube and its relationship to information gathering and histories. A much more valuable archive, imho.

At a conference of flat earthers a few years ago, the vast majority of them said they were shown the "truth" about the Earth via YouTube.That's just an example,but pretty much every and any misinformation you can think of is on YouTube and being disseminated there;YouTube is way worse than Wikipedia
