This time I managed to shake them out, caught them in a cup, and brought them to the kitchen. Where they were served a cube of watermelon from which they heartily ate and drank. Then they were placed in our plants, where I frequently see earwigs around this time of year.

Little buddy did the whole trip with us! Got a great treat at the end of what is probably a pretty stressful two days for an earwig. I know it was stressful for us.
