The magnum opus, in my opinion, is "But Not the Hippopotamus." And contrary to the review, the hippopotamus does not join activities because she is shy (not excluded), and then overcomes that shyness in a triumphant resolution. The armadillo, however, remains conflicted. Apologies for the spoilers.

There's an absolutely delightful follow up, "But Not the Armadillo" which is all about the armadillo being chill AF and doing his own thing.
