Starting your own gig is so messed up. You’re basically a one-man team. One minute you’re customer service, next minute you’re deep down doing backend stuff. Then there’s a bug in the frontend. All this + there’s a service to deliver. Pfff. 🥱

A friend of mine tweeted:
“I am wearing Minion yellow eye shadow 🍋”
For a moment I thought Minion yellow is closer to pineapple.

Turns out she is right; the Euclidean distance of the points corresponding to the RGB values of each colour is smaller between 🍋and minion yellow!

Becoming a tenured professor is my ultimate life goal. I have even dreamed about this, seeing myself teaching at an Ivy League university. If I ever get there, I promise to share my knowledge and publications with the less fortunate around the world. Education should be free for everyone.

I keep an empty black `empty.html` page as my active browser tab on browser instances I'm not currently using to prevent myself from being distracted by whatever the last active tab would otherwise be. (also nice for making secondary monitors less bright) Can recommend!

I think about this a lot. Based solely on my observation, the ones who got rich overnight they’re more likely to become assholes but some with generational wealth had the unfortunate in their minds and tried to help others as much as possible.
