I can definitely see that. Even a complementary quote by a substantially higher subbed account can be seen as an act of moving the conversation to their channel.

I feel like the internet has accidentally trained us to view previously normal things as hostile :/ I’ve noticed more & more lately, I feel like I have to use excessive emojis or w/e when asking questions on serious topics because people are so used to bad faith q’s & automatically assume the worst
