Not really, there’s VERY little flexibility on pricing. Our comms/net is almost a monopoly w little motivation to be consumer centric. We have long been known to have some of the worst phone plans in the world :/ It’s more like folks get annoyed w bad service & leave to try & have false control

There’s only the two here so it’s not like there’s a whole ton of choice tbh. Flipping back and forth between the two is what some people do but it makes zero sense to me 😅

I've always found this odd. & I'm sure you know it doesn't stop at diff words - the refusal or shock that other countries have different things or don't have things, the general concept that the entire world doesn't work the 'American way'... is amusing to behold even in the loveliest of Americans

Does anyone else’s Boomer parents feel the urge to switch tv/internet providers every few years? My dad just texted me saying ‘it’s official, we’re switching!’ … to the service they angrily switched from 3 years ago 💀🫠

FWIW I meant due to feeling jittery AF, but this kills me b/c I had to do that back in ‘21 & that prep is 💩💀 Fun fact: when I was highAF & they wheeled me in for my procedure, I asked ALL the staff if they knew the ‘I wonder what’s in your butthole’ song & told them it was their office theme song
