Is it okay to partake in portfolio day, even when not looking for work?. I only draw for myself now. I gave up many years ago to be hired for art work (and I probably wouldn’t be able to keep up anyways). But I still want to make art independently.

I feel this too at times. But then the thought of: hey, we are all just people who live in this world in the end of the day, and commenting/replying is okay, even when feeling awkward. As long you are not being an ass toward the other person for no reason, it’s fine.

🏳️‍🌈Since pride is coming up, just letting to be known I think all different type of queer people are valid and should be welcome in pride. Doesn’t matter if it’s gay, lesbian, bi/pan, trans, aro/ace, and even kinksters and drag. Lets us not tear each other apart.

I have technically been drawing plenty this year compared to other years. But at the same time I am greedy and want more of me, “I should had been drawing better, more, faster and stronger”. But alas I am a tired owl, and I simply need a lot of rest and time to recharge energy and motivation too.

I have seen some non artists being angry at meta, and some people have deciding to either delete fb or stop feeding meta new pictures. This topic have even come across the norwegian news paper even how bad this is.

Not really sure how to name this one yet. Any suggestions? It was a fun experiment where I tried pushing my pencils and watercolors much more than I usually do, before laying my ink lines. The result is a bit darker than intended, and my values got a bit messed up, but I learned a lot with this one.
