This is exactly what it looks/feels/sounds like now. This election is the most important one in 200+ years and even with it this situation is just getting started. It's going to be a very long road ahead to change or fix the trajectory we are now firmly on.π

ya you and me both. We just have to hope that enough voters see just how horrific the future will be if these greedy power hunger monsters aren't stop before it's too late.

Christian Nationalism isn't a religious movement, it's a political one. The use Christianity because it's an established form of control for dominant men. Real practising Christians are a voter base for them that are already subservient to indoctrination and conservative role models.

One of the top architects of Project 2025 basically pulling a Putin. Do as the Christian National extreme right tells you to do and nobody has to die. This is what America is facing in November. We are in BIG TROUBLE.

It's hilarious how all of them have to work for each other now because normal society don't want to touch them with a 10 foot pole. Imagine knowing MAGA and qanon are the only audience on earth that still listen to you anymoreπ

I remember it well. Roblaws is gouging now more than ever as they have figured out how to do it with zero consequences. They will be just as evil with this. Groceries in Canada is a monopoly for handful of billionaires. They'd engage in Soylent Green if it meant they could profit.

When A. G. Sulzberger became chairman the NYT he felt it had become a "liberal rag" . the rest as they say is history.

A. G. Sulzberger has destroyed any credible history the NYT ever had. It's nothing more than a conservative tabloid now.

People really need to stop reading The NYT. If it squawks like a duck, prints headlines like a duck, it's a gawd damn duck. Corporate Mainstream News Media have an agenda and it's fed by the greedy Billionaires taking over America.

They always have their cake and eat it to. Most billionaires were likely the kid that screamed bloody murder until they got what they wanted and then tossed it aside anyway.

That's because it's one small article of circumstantial evidence. When you look globally at things like the IDU, the politics of the worlds 2000+ billionaires and the number of democratic countries now being consumed by extreme right ideology the amount of circumstantial evidence becomes enormous.

There will always be subservient conservative women that are allowed to clime the ladder of success as long as they pull the ladder up behind them. Women's, Civil, LGBTQ2S+, individual rights movements don't end. They are a constant that must never celebrate permanent victory or rest on it's laurels

How different everything would be if misogyny, gerrymandering and corrupt electoral college hadn't robber her in 2016? A life long champion of women, children and equal rights. She would have finally been free of the constraints that kept her under control for her entire EXTENSIVE political career.

It's part of the fight that has gone back and forth for 246 years. It's a defining difference between the conservative right and the progressive left. One wants to stay in the 1700s and the other wants to evolve. One wants white male dominance and the other wants free equality for everyone.
