Cook your peaches in the butter until they are soft and thick. It'll take maybe 10-15 minutes

Melt a stick of butter in your baking dish in a preheated 350 degree oven. Make your batter (1 c flour, 1 c sugar, a pinch of salt, 1.5 tsp baking powder, 1/2 c milk. Stir until just combined, it's better to be lumpy than it is to over stir)
