Does SCOTUS now mean the US effectively can have ye olde Kings? DIdn’t they fight a war or something to get away from monarchy rule?

It’s intolerable to watch what’s happening, what a move towards more despotism and authoritarianism to come… Sotomayor is correct, we should all fear for what’s to come, esp more despotism and dictatorship trends. Pack the courts with better judges - that has to be every US voter’s goal henceforth
