It's partly why they lost, doing the culture war crap where people were worried about paying their bills...a few do care about it, but it's not as big an issue as Reform makes out. Wedge issue really in certain areas, Reform was a protest vote.

It's great to see the Tories lose, but the worry is they take the Reform Lite route...some opponents would love that cos it will lead to Tories being unelectable for a long time, cos to be brutally frank the majority do not give af about those issues...

It's disturbing as it robs the younger party of any responsibility, proof or agency. I mean I've known people much older than me who never grew up, and some super sorted mature 20 year olds. Maturity doesn't happen at a certain age, it comes through growth and experience

But like with Schofield a lot of the lurid talk and upset is actually over the intergen part, rather than 'did they actually abuse their power' which can happen at any age. Some just take it as a given, when actually they are just 'grossed out' at intergen/age gap things.

Abuse allegations are one thing...but can I just say, every time people launch into age gap relationships are 'gross' and automatically predatory for what are basically adults (18-25) more of my faith in humanity dies? I've faced that shit for decades and it doesn't get better.

We need a 'None of the Above' option on all governmental elections, and if more than 50% countrywide vote for it, instant re-election where all candidates including the incumbents get deselected, all new people. Cos I am tempted not to vote for the first time ever cos they are all fucking useless.

...But the audience is the algorithm (not entirely equals, YT fiddles and biases it somewhat, but mostly clicks and watches and interactions are king), so if your videos are doing badly suddenly, it's that your audience or subscribers aren't digging it. Time for a new approach.
