Ukiyo-e (Pictures of the Floating World), is a genre of Japanese art from the 17th-19th centuries that has produced and inspired some of the most treasured woodblock prints.
I also share bits of Japanese culture.

Guys with mother issues have problems with Hillary. Her record of service is outstanding. Read any biography of the woman. I’ve read two.

Utagawa Kuniyoshi depicts the poet strolling past a grove of trees in what looks like a relaxed & cheerful atmosphere. The umbrellas indicate that the 2 figures are caught in a downpour. Or do the white patches depict the mist?

Of course she will. It’s not just about Kamala. I’m sure I am not the only woman/man tired of immature & rude behavior run amuck. We all have a shadow side; it doesn’t give us permission to threaten others with violence, gaslight, or spread lies. The world is burning; it doesn’t need accelerants.

Starbucks is overroasted and has a pretty low bar. Most of their drinks have more calories than a human's daily intake suggestion. I'd stick with instant over the franchise.

Ok Cowboy, enough with running down people by taking things out of context. The biggest cowards mock women and minorities. Grow up. Share solutions, Say something constructive. You sound like a gossip from the 1930's. You don't even use your real name; how passive-aggressive is that?

I think feeling "hopeless" comes from knowing somewhere along the line you did not make the right decision. The best cure is to get up and take your power back. Individuals have power. Broke? Volunteer where you want to be.

Why is Newsweek giving print real estate to someone so stupid? Oh, I forgot. They get paid by publicists.

"You're basically driving around in a big Red MAGA hat!" He is a very creepy rich guy that made himself richer off of other peoples ideas and then ruined them. Who thinks for a second that an environmentalists has 12 children and leaves them and their mothers when a new groupie comes along?

Throw yourself your own party! I’m an only child and usually prefer my own company to crowds. I made my own rituals. For yrs, going to the Monterey aquarium on my birthday & staying at a nice hotel, later, going to Venice, Italy for my birthday. Have a message, hire an escort, rent a car and drive.

Get better soon. When I recovered my lungs would not clear for a long time. It turned out I was low in iron & had two iron transfusions. My breathing & lungs cleared up. Who knew? You can take liquid Floridix for an iron your body can handle if it becomes an issue for you too.

PS: I’ll have to do a deep dive into my photos later for the old Castles In The Air gnome artists. The retail store closed during lock down but they still give workshops in their studio.

It’s so worth the hike because you’ll spot little fairy habitats in the most unexpected places. They move and change, rarely stay the same through the forest. It may have begun from Castles In The Air (Berkeley)artists that create gnome terrariums & fairy habitats with moss & forest detritus.

I’ve posted 16 pictures of San Francisco’s Fairy Gates Trail on my other feed. It’s a magical forest in the heart of the city to search for fairy and gnome habitats magically created by mysterious sources.

It’s magical and that would not surprise me. I’ve been there in the rain! Climate change has affected SF like everywhere else. It use to lightly rain every morning for an hr or two. No more; now Seattle has SF weather and ours is more like LA use to be. LA has become nearly as hot as México.
