The wild thing is a massive amount of the disinformation boomers get is via email groups my moms right wing friend constantly sends her these atrocious emails I have no clue why her friend sends em to her but that kinda disinfo is prob impossible to measure

I finished my most ambitious piece!
I always thought the anime aesthetic didn’t rly show the impact of war on a person and unintentionally glamorized the picture so I redrew the Polaroid in a more realistic style, inspired by the pictures of the WWI trench soldiers

My parents who are in their 70’s will write entire properly punctuated letters in their texts, and I started with the extremely abbreviated text language like “omg gf he’s a ttl qt” language changes so fast online

I think the fact that gen Z grew up with the internet since they were born they expect everyone to be on the same page as them when it comes to online and electronic communication. A lot of people are “set in their ways” and it should be accepted that different people communicate differently.

I think it’s generally safe if u don’t have any visible uniquely identifiable features like tattoos or birthmarks and take the picture in a nondescript location that doesn’t show something like if there are palm trees or other location specific things

Same I’ve only done it once and it was because it was a trans joy QS thread and the pic was a mirror pic in a dress that I never posted to identifiable social media or identifiable features and cropped my face out so I had a high degree of confidence it couldn’t b tracked back to my IRL identity
