No, I don't think Sid is doing bad in the world. I'm very protective of my artist friends and their livelihood, and AI-image generators were made with the explicit purpose of putting them out of work. Even using it for 'benign' purposes like reference generation is still using it. You're right, tho-

I have several disabled friends (mainly folks with failing eyesight or cognitition) that use it, and as valid of a use as that all is, it doesn't change that it's rotten software from the core. It's harmful in all ways. I just don't think us disableds should be using it at all, either. It's a wedge.

This is someone using an intended evil tool to do something that enriches their life and others. Humans will always use evil tools to do good and vice versa, & we all know the tool was created with evil intent. I think he just wants to draw without feeling bad, but you just NEEDED him to feel bad. 🙄
