If Democrats were actually willing to play constitutional hardball, Biden would have rounded up every insurrectionist in the House, Senate, and Courts the minute the opinion dropped.

They remaining members of the house and senate should then use their power to bolster democracy, ban insurrectionists from serving, and undue the harm the Roberts court has inflicted upon society. Democrats won’t do this, but it’s the right thing to do in this scenario.
