I have so many nail clippers because they always disappear so some rooms have up to 3 just so I don't bite or tear my nails. I craft so I have everyday scissors and speciality scissors. And box cutters I have regular and safety ones. I lend people the regular because they are cheap.

I follow this logic for scissors! Gotta tuck them in lil spaces though bc my partner is the one who picks things up and takes them up to seven houses away and forgets where they are. So I keep one pair of scissors VISIBLE and five others stowed away where I use them.

It’s so nice to not have to keep buying things bc you lose them. There’s one of most of those things in every room. Ignore the 4500 different scissors, x-acto knives, craft knives, olfa knives, etc. etc. currently lost in my stationery hoard in my studio. Or my 3 pairs of fabric shears.

I have little nail kits in every room (glass files, nail oil pens, clippers, cuticle nippers - nippers get the most use) Also we have scissors, envelope openers (bought a dozen) & olfa blades at the front door for packages, in the bedroom (clothes tags) & scissors in the laundry room, kitchen, etc.
