Polls this far out aren’t indicative of how things will actually go come election time. But they can change public perception, fundraising, and strategy, so it’s important that where there are counterexamples to the prevailing narrative, we amplify them. The media surely won’t.
This should be a blowout, but the party is gambling that a segregationist running a genocide will beat out a racist fascist, all so they don't have to actually do what their stated platform says and thereby alienate donors. This is ridiculous.
All Biden would have to do is forgive a big chunk of student debt or work the bully pulpit to raise minimum wage, any anti-austerity actions, and he’d win.
But he and the Dems are so corrupt they won’t.
Hillary was leading EVERY poll on Trump going into the election of 2016, so I have very little faith in any polls for anything.
If Biden was decimating tRump, we'd never know about it, because mass media wants a "close" election.
Else no one watches it and billions in advertiser funds are gone.
If we look at the past 6 years of elections, the most accurate and vital of polls, we see the Democrats racking up far more Ws than the Republicans. While I think the GOP has retained their deplorable base I think they've lost more voters than gained overall. Still lots of work to be done.
Do people really think there are vast swaths of voters who voted against Trump in 2020 and somehow have changed their mind about him over the last 3 years?
It's all about mobilization, if Democrats can bring their voters to the polls Trump will lose. If not, we are screwed.
