In my opinion tabular grains all have a 'smoother' rendering vs the 'sharper' rendering of traditional cubic grains, so, the scans often need a bit more sharpening. But they hold tonal gradation better, especially in the shadows, which makes them my preference for pushing. Pen D2, D400 @ 1600
