It is a nice lens, nice package. Way too many photos I'm really happy with on the first roll. But I've got a pile of extra steps with the scanning on the Epson 600, but worth it, just a little long until i figure out a better workflow. I want to see what it does with a 50iso film

I've cropped these down to a 4x5 ratio... should have clarified that, sorry. But it is less of a crop by a smidge than with the other formats. lately I've been doing that with everything, 35mm film or the K3.3's APS-C chip images.

Macro mode on the Pentax 17

I use the lanyard to gauge the appropriate distance (supposed to be the correct distance) but maybe it is off, or I moved...

I also chose this composition b/c I new something would be in focus.

Not at all. It is kind of curious because I've been shooting more vertically lately with both the Spotmatic and the K3.3 cameras, so this kind of feels almost more natural?

Yes, I'm very happy with the camera and the decision to go with the TMax100 in it. Next roll is being shot at 400, we'll see how differently it turns out.

Developing the first roll out of the Pentax 17 listening to some C89.5 and well it's K-Pop hour.

Seems oddly fitting somehow.

May not get to scanning until Monday, but I'm very eager to see what the film looks like.

This little one kept trying after the schools of fish the Osprey was targeting but then gave up and moved off to a different area.

And then I caught the moment when the dive started, a blurry shot just as it was about to break the surface of the water, then successfully flying away.

And then I realized they were fishing as a pair as the two flew off to the trees.

Osprey

On the bike ride home, I heard a massive SPLASH in the water along the bike path, and saw an Osprey flying up out of the water empty clawed.

So I stopped, pulled out the camera and tried to get a few good shots.
