Debating joining the dating apps again. Not sure it's worth it. The last time I was on them, I talked to two people. One stopped talking to me before exchanging anything because I like sharks and he's afraid of them. And the other one, I was already the only one making an effort.

Growing up, our barf bowl was like a plastic tub my mom got from the hospital she worked at. Now it's an old Lysol wipe container. I've never heard of people using food containers until discourse started a few years ago.

I just brought out the trash to the dumpster and saw some fireflies!! I haven't seen any in years. But also some guy across the street is lighting fireworks, so I couldn't stay out for long to watch the fireflies. But it made me so happy.

For real. I was just thinking the other day how Twitter came together to save my little brother from homelessness after he got out of the mental hospital. And how my brother is doing so well now. I'm so grateful to everyone who helped. It still makes me tear up how generous and kind everyone was.

Today was a bananas day at work. And I've got a thing I've got to go to at 8 that's a memorial for someone I used to work with. Some people from this job are getting together, but why so late? Why when towns are doing fireworks? WHY AT 8PM??!! We're all in our 30s/40s.
